As a Freshman class congressman, he is a member of the the House Armed Services Committee, the Committee on Homeland Security, and the Committee on Science, Space and Technology.

It is our pleasure to speak to the Congressman on issues brought to the fore at recent meetings of the Homeland Security Committee. Listen to clip here:

Also join us to speak with
Col. Frank Ryan (USMC, retired) Col. Ryan has more military and business experience than all of the Republican Presidential candidates in total. Actually you can throw in the current President and it won’t make a dime’s worth of difference. Col Ryan is a reitred Marine who served on General Tommy Franks staff in Iraq, as an expert in economic warfare. When forming his staff, Gen. Franks said, “Get me Ryan”. His decades of public service have not ended with his retirement from the military.

Frank Ryan worked full time at night to pay for college, and graduated first in his class, summa cum laud, with a BS degree in economics. He completed a 24 month MBA graduate program in finance in 10 months with similar academic results, and he became a Pennsylvania Certified Public Accountant the first time he took the test. (not a standard expectation for aspiring CPAs)

For nearly twenty years, Frank Ryan has been president of the small business he founded – F. X. Ryan & Associates, a Lebanon County, Pennsylvania-based management consulting firm specializing in turnarounds, workouts, crisis management, strategic planning, and working capital management. He has extensive experience in business process redesign.

His credentials go on and on, but presently, we can find his work and commentary at IBD and American Thinker.
Read his latest work here and here.

And of course, producer Tim Sumner joins us via Al Gore’s amazing iternet with Freedom Radio’s penultimate National Security Update.

Nick Popaditch is BACK on Freedom Radio

Freedom Radio welcomes back to our show retired USMC Nick Popaditch, Sunday June 19th at 8 pm EST. Also known as Gunny Pop, Mr. Popaditch returns to Freedom Radio on a very special mission and we need your help. We’re looking for a few good Americans to help Gunny Pop complete this mission; Are you with us? To get background on Gunny’s mission watch the video on the right at the top of this page.

From his website:

Nicholas A. Popaditch, Gunnery Sgt., USMC, was a witness to history in both Desert Shield/Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom, commanding an M1-A1 Abrams Battle Tank from the deserts of southern Iraq to the streets of Baghdad. This former Marine Tank Commander is also known as
“The Cigar Marine” from the AP photo (April 2003) on major front page newspapers in the U.S. of the historic event that truly symbolized the liberation of Baghdad as the 1st Tank Battalion Marines pulled down a statue of Saddam Hussein.

Nick was medically retired from the Marines in 2005 at the rank of Gunnery Sergeant from wounds sustained in combat in the battle of Fallujah.

“Gunny Pop” was awarded the Silver Star for gallantry for his actions on April 6 and 7, 2004, while commanding a tank in Fallujah, Iraq and was also awarded the Purple Heart.

He is the author of Once A Marine an Iraq War Tank Commander’s Inspirational Memoir of Combat, Courage, and Recovery. The book holds an honored spot on the United States Marine Corps Professional Reading program, also known as the Commandant’s reading list. Marine Corps University recommends
Once A Marine for every rank from Private to General.

Also join us this Sunday as the Freedom Radio Team presents a
straightforward analysis of Operation Fast & Furious. If you think this ain’t big, think Watergate with AK47s.

The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms’ mission is to interdict weapons to prevent the people who would commit crimes from being well armed.  A fatally flawed plan, exercised under the Phoenix branch of the ATF, named “Fast & Furious” may well have been activated for other purposes, without regard for human life.

This is why Congressional oversight of this operation has begun with well disciplined hearings being conducted with Darrell Issa at the helm. Here is their report.

“Fast & Furious” was fatally flawed from its inception if indeed its goal as stated was the taking down of drug cartels. If the plan was to take down them down by building a federal case, it WAS NOT by the use of the always necessary chain of custody procedures to roll up all the recipients of the weapons. As such, the stated goal was impossible. Everyone knows the Mexican cartels buy weapons for criminal purposes; allowing weapons to “walk” necessarily involved these specific F & F weapons in criminal acts of bloodshed and murder.

Yet the program went on, even as its proponents knew that the last time the weapons would be seen as part of evidence in any case would be at a crime scene where there would be blood and dead bodies.

Be there Sunday, Freedom Radio 8 pm EST as we break it down into clear points as no one else has done
and be ready to rock and roll.

Next Week: Jedediah Bila, Rep. Scott Rigell, (R, VA) and Col. Frank Ryan USMC retired.

West, Pantano & Behenna on Freedom Radio Sun June 5 8 PM EST

Freedom Radio will rock and roll Sunday evening June 5th when we welcome back Congressman Allen B. West from Florida’s 22nd district. The Congressman will discuss everything from the budget to the Patriot Act to Obamacare, in the way that only he can.

Restore America

Also returning to Freedom Radio is Vicki Behenna, mother of American hero Lt. Michael Behenna, being unjustly held at Levanworth for simply doing his job as an American soldier.

On March 20th, 2009, Army Ranger 1st Lieutenant Michael Behenna was sentenced to 25 years in prison for killing Ali Mansur, a known Al Qaeda operative while serving in Iraq. Mansur was known to be a member of an Al Qaeda cell operating in the lieutenant’s area of operation and Army intelligence believed he organized an attack on Lt. Behenna’s platoon in April 2008 which killed two U.S. soldiers and injured two more.

Learn more about Michael, his case and his family here.

And a first time guest to Freedom Radio, Lt. Ilario Pantano, USMC retired, author of “Warlords” and candidate for the House from North Carolina’s district 7, where an entrenched Democrat has served Pelosi’s agenda for 7 terms.

About the Lieutenant from his webite:

His call to serve his country is not a new one. Pantano has sworn the oath to defend the Constitution of the United States three times in his life: first as a 17-year old Marine.  As an anti-tank gunner, Pantano fought in the first Gulf War, with the Sixth Marine Regiment that helped to liberate Kuwait from Iraqi invaders. Later, Pantano would become an Elite Scout Sniper and train with foreign militaries in the Mediterranean. His service included support of the UN peacekeeping mission for what was then Yugoslavia.  Sergeant Pantano was honorably discharged (1993) and attended New York University at night while working at Goldman Sachs by day.  He began as a clerk in the oil and gas markets of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) and ultimately worked up to a position trading electricity….

…. On his way to a meeting in Manhattan, he witnessed the Twin Towers burning in the attacks of September 11, 2001.   Friends and colleagues were killed in the attacks….
Pantano rushed to a recruiter’s office and began the lengthy process of returning to service in the Marines, this time as an officer…..

…..Pantano graduated Marine officer training in the top 2 percentile and was selected by his peers to lead their Infantry Officer Class. Upon graduation, 2nd Lt Pantano and his family were assigned to Camp Lejeune North Carolina, where he took command of an Infantry Platoon with the 2nd Battalion of the 2nd Marine Regiment, the WARLORDS.  The WARLORDS deployed to the “Triangle of Death” Region in Iraq where they conducted combat operations in Latafiyah, Yusufiyah and Falluja.
