Detroit 2.0

Philadelphia’s billypenn.com h/t Anna Orso:

“In a closely-watched race with national implications, Larry Krasner, the defense attorney who became the darling of the social justice movement, has become a near-lock to become district attorney of Philadelphia.  Krasner, (who) has represented clients including Occupy Philly and Black Lives Matter……”

Larry Krasner has sued the Philadelphia Police Department 75 times.  He is a fan of George Soros.  More importantly, George Soros is a fan of his.  They are both fans of “social justice”  The truth is however that there is no justice in a society that cheers for the criminal and not the cop. Occupy and Black Lives Matter are both anarchist wings of the Democrat party. Mr. Krasner is now likely to be the next DA as he has successfully locked up the Democrat nomination in a city whose democrats outnumber others 7 to 1.

Mr. Krasner and his democrat brothers care little about the lot of the average Joe, Jose or Jamal.    The poor deluded and dead voters of Philadelphia actually still believe that the Democrat Party gives a damn about them.  Repubicans and especially ex-republicans are very sure their party doesn’t give a damn about them.  In 2012 There were NO votes for Romney in 59 voting districts in Philadelphia.

The truth is, that systems of wealth redistribution (the definition of social justice ) are necessary for the systematic and dependable theft of tax payers money by the powerful.  Helping the poor has never been the true purpose of any government program.  Programs are only the conduits through which routine theft takes place codified by legislation.  Social justice has as its only purpose,  theft by the not working elites from those who are not paying attention.

Back to Mr. Krasner;  Why would any thinking man become a Philadelphia cop?  The city’s DA will have been elected because of his record of trying to destroy the police department.   So diminishing numbers of police and no threat of execution of murderers and little or no deportation of criminal illegal aliens and what we have here folks is a recipe for the mass exodus of the taxpaying base.  When the financial base of Philadelphia is gone, what will the remainder have?

Shattered Expectations

“Shattered” is a new book about the failures of Hillary’s presidential campaign. One of the authors has appeared on shows that like you to think they have a conservative bent and a few that actually do.   I looked forward to reading this book for a rainy Sunday afternoon’s entertainment.  I thought it would be fun to dance all over the facts that brought about Hillary’s political grave,  schadenfreude with ice cream and chocolate on top.  Sadly, there are many democrat narratives throughout the book.  Like the innumerable Clinton scandals, only a partial list is needed to provide more than substantial evidence.

The following examples are taken from location 101 on the Kindle copy of the book.  Glad I didn’t spend the money for  a hard copy,  I don’t have a wood burning fireplace.

L 101:

“She collected nearly 65.9 million votes, more than any other republican in history, just 64,8222 fewer than Barack Obama in 2012, and almost 3 million more than Donald Trump.  And she did it while facing a set of trials and tribulations unlike any other American in campaign history: a partisan congressional investigation; a primary opponent who attacked her character; a rogue FBI director; the rank misogyny of her Republican rival; a media that scrutinized her every move while failing to get that Republican rival to turn over his tax returns; and even a Kremlin-based campaign to defeat her.

Points:

Trials and tribulations unlike any other American campaign in history….
Lincoln, FDR, Reagan and Nixon all had tougher roads to the Whitehouse.  Two out of 4 of  them  had huge wars to deal with, and Nixon and Reagan both had the full bias of the media out to destroy them.  Reagan like Trump, did not have  the support of his own party.  Most of Hillary’s biggest problems were of her own making;  Benghazi, her illegal server leaving our national security at high risk, her past attacks on the victims of  Bill’s acts of sexual violence.  Lets not leave out her using of the Clinton Foundation to launder influence buying payments or that Hillary is not at all well liked.

…a primary opponent who attacked her character
What primary candidate of either party never attacked their opponents’ character?
….a partison congressional investigation
Just because its partisan doesn’t mean it isn’t warranted.  Hillary’s private server was just that, a SERVER.   Our national security information was served up on a silver platter for all our enemies to see on demand.

….a rogue FBI Director
Its is more truthful to say that the rogue appointee in the executive branch was Loretta Lynch, who was never going to prosecute Hillary.

…..rank misogyny of her Republican Rival
If it wasn’t for immigration to America, 45 would not have married two of his wives.  Where’s the misogyny?

….Media scrutinized her every move…
This is a joke, right?

….Kremlin-based campaign to defeat her
There is simply no proof of this.  All that is known is that the Democrat party operation was phished, it wasn’t even hacked.  Where the Russians had no luck getting into the Republican campaign website.

There is more to dispute in just that paragraph provided, but as I’ve tried to say above, enough is all you need.  These statements are just in one paragraph in the intro!  Half way through the book and the pattern of using a democrat party line slant continues throughout.
The authors have bent over backwards to award deference to Hillary, which would be fine if they used facts.   If they had left out the propaganda and the Trump bashing, perhaps “Shattered” would be credible.
As it is, I’d save my money for Mark Levin’s next book.

Reince, Repeat

Why do Republicans  continue to hold their debates with the marxist media in command? Why do they not make arrangements for debate hosting with the Heritage Foundation, MRC or Conservative Review?  Republicans seem to be more afraid of conservatives than they are of socialists and more comfortable losing elections than winning them.

There is some serious brain power and talent  in the Republican presidential line up and yet it seems that the RNC cannot wait to squelch it not just in this election, but in nearly every one in memory.

The bottom line may be that the RNC uses these farcical debates with liberal activist moderators to effectively drive the conservatives out of the race.

We must look to the consistent results of these so called debates and walk them backward to find the motivation for repeating the same losing behavior election after election.  They are repeating this seemingly insane game plan because in the end it consistently buys them what they truly want; They appear to want less than stellar candidates who do not inspire maximum voter turn out.

Add to it this the questionable primary system in which most early primaries are held in blue states, topped off by the one in South Carolina which actually has the democrats voting in the Republican primary.    This allows the so called moderate candidates to rake in the dough heavily, right out of the gate, while forcing the conservatives to spend enormous sums of money and drive them out of the competition.

The Republicans are often called the “stupid party”.   If they desire to lose election after election, they couldn’t do a smarter job.

Your Turn; An Open Letter to Jeb Bush

Governor Bush,

There is something more than troubling about you, Jeb Bush running for President on the heals of your brother, your father and lets not forget great grandfather (about 7 times I guess) Franklin Pierce on your mother’s side.  We fought a war so we could avoid the isolation of power in ad infinitum samples of the same gene pool.  Its just not healthy.

No, its not like you are the spawn of Elvis, or an Osmond,or a Marx brother but you not exactly a member of New Kids on The Block, either. They can sing. They would at least
bring new blood to the office.

You’re not even a Wahlberg, or a Jonas brother for that matter. In other words, Jeb, you and George W should have arm wrestled for the opportunity back in the day and at least one would have walked away with dignity.  There is something unsettling, even desperate about your choice to run for President.  We know Mom liked you best, but since you are running now, will Marvin run in 2024?  Or why not for that matter let Dorothy Bush Koch run instead?  The left would love that one.

She and Hillary could mud wrestle instead of debate.  Talk about must-see TV!

Rumer already has it that when you speak, Hillary’s lips move.

Your running is almost an insult to the rest of America.  After all, one of us should be able to grow up and be President, too.

Czech Blue Dog Blues

Jerry Shenk writes in the American Thinker:

“For decades, until 2009 — after Democrats had secured majorities in both houses of Congress, a hard-left liberal entered the White House, and government profligacy really took off — centrist politics and institutional collegiality brought America progressively closer to economic and fiscal crisis.”

The entire article can be read here:

You can find more of his work here.

He has kindly further shared with me the following related quote in a recent e mail, h/t to Jerry: “Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way that you can quickly understand them.  This quote came from the Czech Republic .  Someone over there has it figured out. It was translated into English from an article in the Prague newspaper Prager Zeitungon “

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.  It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America .  Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.  The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool.  It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president.”

I could not have said it any better in any language. Thanks, Jerry.
